I'm on a diet.

More like I'm on a semi-diet. We ate Chinese take-out last night. How is that healthy? Granted, it was all the healthier options, but still!
Anyway, just now I thought I heard my mother call me. It was a low, soft call, like she was standing right behind me. But when I went looking for my mom, she wasn't around, She was still at the grocery store. Which meant either a ghost is haunting me now, or I'm hallucinating voices in my head. Rats. I thought I would stay sane 'til college. 
Otherwise, business as usual. Ideas being made up and shelved for later. Since my last journal, I've gotten myself a car. 2008 Volvo, white. Good news: I have a beauty of a car. Bad news: Now I have to get a job. Hopefully I can get a job at my local grocery store, but who knows? I have marching band next month, and I need a job that'll be flexable with it. Ugh! Actually having a life is stressing. 
Well, I'm off to take a brisk walk to brush sauce onto a brisket. Get it? Brisket? Brisk? Never mind.
