So thanks to many GREAT AND WONDERFUL FRIENDS, I'm stuck with an obsession with Tumblr. It's a lot of fun to go through and find stuff I like, but it means that I forget to go on Deviantart sometimes. Which is bad, considering that my inbox now fills up to the hundreds. I haven't done any journals in a while though, so I figured now is a good time than never.
This week I was on vaca in Florida, specifically in the keys. It was a lot of relaxing and pool time, and according to many of my homies today, I got a little tan. I had a good time, and I was still able to go on Deviantart and stuff because I needed to do homework. Which I haven't finished yet. Oops. Oh well, I'll do a cram session tonight! Shouldn't be too bad for me!
I've been participating in a writing tournament, my first one that I'm actively in, hosted by the wonderful folks at and I made it to the final round! I'm really twitching now; I have no idea whether I'll do a poem or a short story for this one, and I want to make this one bang! Ooh, maybe I'll do both! I dunno, maybe that won't count? Ugh, I'll figure something out.
And finally, I got an idea for a story while I was on vaca, but was immediately replaced by an old idea while I was on the plane home. This needs to stop. I need to look at all the ideas I've ever had, and pick one and stick with it. Problem is, they all seem great! I love all the ideas But I wanna actually use one and write something! This is getting ridiculous! You know what, I'll write down my current idea, and see how long it takes for me to go to another idea. Here:
Current idea: A nerdy but secretly arrogant girl discovers she has a mental connection to a tough street artist. Alongside an imaginary handsome galactic space captain, she tortures him in the confines of her room while he searches her out to destroy the connection for good.
This better buttering stick, cause it sounds really cool in my head right now.
Well, that's all I have within me. See ya'll later.

I'm on a diet.
More like I'm on a semi-diet. We ate Chinese take-out last night. How is that healthy? Granted, it was all the healthier options, but still!
Anyway, just now I thought I heard my mother call me. It was a low, soft call, like she was standing right behind me. But when I went looking for my mom, she wasn't around, She was still at the grocery store. Which meant either a ghost is haunting me now, or I'm hallucinating voices in my head. Rats. I thought I would stay sane 'til college.
Otherwise, business as usual. Ideas being made up and shelved for later. Since my last journal, I've gotten myself a car. 2008 Volvo, white. Good news: I have a b

The 2014 TMNT Is The Best Thing That Could Happen
Yeah, I said it. Oh, what, you wanna fight, huh, wanna?
Nah, I don't wanna fight you. Rather, let me try this again: The 2014 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie is the best thing that could happen...financially.
The TMNT franchise, ever since the comics and 1st animated series gained popularity in the 1980s, has spawned multitudes of TV shows, movies, video games, and little plastic toys in every McDonalds Kids Meal. It's a weird idea, having four adolescent turtles who, thanks to "mutagen", became anthropomorphic creatures who train in the art of ninjutsu. Yet, here we are, 2014, with a successful fourth animated series and an upcoming mov
I likey Flash fiction+RESEARCHER PALS WANTED!
I entered into #Original-Lit (https://www.deviantart.com/original-lit)'s flash fiction contest, just on a whim, and boy was it fun! It was challenging to get up to 500 words, actually; I was under that, with like 450 words. But I like how my flash fic came out, and I'm thinking about trying it out again sometime soon! When I get a good idea for a short story. Because my mind is taken over by a different idea!
Anyway, that "researcher pal" wanted ad title. Actually, this is more of a plea for help: I got a great idea for a story, in a fictional world where a war is going on (reminiscent of WWI), but I have some problems starting with research. Specifically, on the civilian aspect
